Texas Cowboy! :)

So... My grandma called me on Sunday and told me she found me a Texas cowboy. I didn't get the call so she left me a message, I called her back and was talking to her and she told me about the guy who came to church and bore his testimony and said he wore boots and a cowboy hat. My grandma was sitting next to her friend and said if he dances he would be perfect for my granddaughter! So my grandma wanted to talk to him, but she had to leave early so my grandmas friend went out and talked to him asked if he dances and he does and said my friend has a granddaughter she wants you to get to know so he gave her is number to give to my grandma to give to me! So she gave it to me and I texted him on Sunday night he called me and we talked for awhile and we have been talking every night except for Monday night! It's fun talking to him and getting to know him, the only downside is he lives in Texas and is in washington for right now! But I am optimistic that we will meet! I really want to! I enjoy talking to him and getting to know him! I love that he talks on the phone rather then texting. It's more personal on the phone! We shall see what happens! For now it's a new adventure!

life in a nutshell....

Well let's see I haven't posted in forever!!! My life has been pretty busy but not at the same time if that makes sense..

Lets see since the last time I blogged I have been to Florida twice, the Bahamas, had a brother get married, have family visits, been to three diamondback games, almost quit my job, and who knows what else because it has been forever..

So let's start with MY OLDEST BROTHER GOT MARRIED!!!! I am so happy for him! I love the women he chose to marry so much and I love her daughter too! Although they have been apart of our family for like 5 years now, they just now made it official on MAY 3rd!!! WE all flew out to Florida and they got married on a cruise and then we went on crusing to the BAHAMAS!!! oh my gosh it was so much fun!! The water was beautful and we got to spend 24/7 together as a family without any distractions such as cell phones and internet! It was amazing to just have all that family time together!! I miss those kind of days just being all together and doing nothing. I am so grateful for my
amazing family who is always there for me!! The cruise was so much fun! Fell in love with waiter, Atilla! He was so handsome and funny! We had a great time at dinner every night!!

Let's see I spent a week in Florida with just my mom!! It was amazing we went and visited my brother and his family! It was so nice to get away with just my mom and have a break! I was needing a break. I probably would of had a break down if I didn't get the break. I was pretty much run down with everything! So i am glad my boss finally came around and let me have it! She tried to pull if you have a break now you can't go in may. and i wasnt going to miss going in may since it was my brothers wedding and I had paid for my cruise and everything already so that wasn't going to happen I would have quit first!! but she let me do both so I was grateful!

I love going to baseball games!!! They are amazing!! MY whole family went on Monday night for my Dad's birthday! plus the diamondbacks were playing the mariners and they are my two favorite teams but I did route for my diamondbacks because i know the team a lot better and I go to more of there games!! IT was fun spending the game sitting with my family and cheering!!

Lets see in march i went to my first professional basketball game!! My cousins Reanna, Regan, and I went to a Phoenix Suns Game!! IT was a lot of fun, plus it was for a YSA activity so that was fun too! but also kind of hard to meet people at a game, but they did have a dance after and that was just as hard and crowded, but it was a lot of fun!!

Let's see I am still at the same job. I guess I am just comfortable there but i also don't like it at the same time and I hate starting over so that makes it hard too. I want a new job but i dont at the same time because I do have a good boss for the most part who lets me have time off when I need it (well mostly lets me have it off). But who knows I have been thinking about going to school just need to figure out what I want to do and then go for it!

I have been going dancing every week and I have had Jordan going with me too! I love hanging out with him! He is an amazing young man and I think he is trying to grow up and that is amazing!! Its fun having some one on one time with my little brother and getting to know him again! He has been gone for awhile and I think he is starting to come back. We are starting to get the real Jordan again! And I LOVE the real Jordan!!

I'll try to post more often, but hey sometimes, I am just not in the mood!

Life is good! I have an amazing family!!

Father's Blessings

I am so thankful for a dad who honors his priesthood, so I can have a Father's blessings. Blessing always seem to help me in so many ways. My Father in Heaven always knows what to tell me and let me know he cares! I know he does and its nice to hear from time to time! I do have a loving Father in Heaven and I am a Daughter of God! I know that with every fiber of my being, sometimes I just forget. I am still taking one day at a time. I lasted all day without texting or talking to the guy so thats a start right?? I mean I am strong enough and he is not worth my tears! I am done crying over him and and am ready to start moving onto better and greater things in my life! I am blessed, I may not be happy right now all the time, but I am blessed! I am so lucky to have everything I have! I am ready to figure out who I am and what I truely want out of this life! I am who I am and no one is going to change me. You can either take it or leave it!

Ringing in the New Year!

Well remember that boy I was telling you about in my last blog post? Well let's just say we are no longer dating. He wants to see where things go with his ex and he told me he had to try again and if he didn't he would just regret it. So I told him, fine. Good luck with life, and I wish you the best! Because I really do wish him the best, I hope he gets everything out of life that he wants.

So that just leaves me heart broken and all alone. Well ok, so I am not alone. I have an amazing family that supports me through everything, so I decided it is time for me to just work on me! I want to work on being temple worthy and finding a righteous man to take me to the temple! I do know that I want to get married there and have a forever family! I know I deserve much better then the guy I was dating and my mom told me so too, but it doesn't make it any easier and life just hasn't been easy lately and I know life isn't meant to be easy, but sometimes I wish it was.

I just feel so lost and all alone. Is that crazy?? To feel so lost even though you are surrounded by so many people who love you and support you?!? Because to be perfectly honest that is exactly how I feel!

I am run down from everything. I hate feeling this way, I almost want a change of scenery. Like move somewhere new and see where life takes me, but I know that is not possible. I just know that I am going to meet the most amazing man and he is going to be the most geniuine and loving man a girl could ask for. I know he is waiting for me somewhere, or maybe I am waiting for him, you just never know but I know he is out there somewhere. I know that I have to put my complete trust and faith in God and His son Jesus Christ. I know that it is all in his time, but it is hard sometimes waiting and trusting in Him. It shouldn't be though right?? I mean he is my Heavnely Father, how could I not trust him 100%??

I plan on working on me this year, drawing closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ! I know that with them anything is possible! I do believe in that! I want to meet new people and make new friends! I want to be a better person everyday! I want to be happy. I want to be active. I want to join a gym! I want to be a better version of myself! I want to live up to my potential, because I have so much potential! I want to figure out who Kaylie really is?? So these are my goals this year!! Stay tuned to see how my goals are working out for me!!

Life is stressful...

Well let's see life has been crazy stressful. Work sucks, and I have been super busy with it. It takes up most of my life. I spend more time at work then I do at home! I have had a lot of extra responsibilities placed on my shoulders which in a good way shows I am a great employee but in a bad way that I don't have anyone to help me out and that in of itself is stressful! I keep hoping it's gonna get better but it doesn't! oh well life goes on right?!?!

My family went to Washington without me for Christmas because my boss wouldnt give me any time off, so I stayed here and spent it with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Which they really were amazing and made me feel apart of their Christmas which I really appreciated! It was a good day for the most part, just missed not being with my family!

I kind of have a boyfriend. We are dating just not official I guess you could say. I don't know. But he is cute and super sweet! Always has the right thing to say! It's new and fun! We shall see what happens!

I had dinner with one of my best friends the other night and it was really great seeing her!! I missed her so much. It was fun catching up and just having some girl time! I don't have that very often anymore!

I went country dancing for the 1st time in a long time and had a blast!! I danced lots and got to let out some of my stress which is always nice!!

I am trying to love life and figure out what I want this next year to bring to me! I guess we will see right?!?!

Thanksgiving!!!!

I am grateful for so many things this year!! Since today is the 24th of November and I didn't do a thankful day everyday I am going to do all of mine in one sitting!!!

I am thankful for
1. FaMiLy- I am so grateful that my family is together this thanksgiving! I do miss my Florida family but I will be seeing them soon!! I can't wait till Adam and Tammy get married and we get to spend the time together and have our family grow! They have been apart of our family for a long time but we are making it official!!
2. Gospel- I am thankful for the gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ and all he does for me! I wouldn't be who I am today without it!
3. Country dancing- I love dancing, especially country swing! It is such a fun way to work out!! I love just letting lose and having a blast and not caring what anyone thinks!
4. A job- may not be the most ideal but it is a great job!
5. A roof over my head
6. The few friends I have that still talk to me
7. Doctors- that they help us heal and fix the things that need fixing!
8. That I am alive
9. That my little brother is still here with us after everything that has happened! (a post for a later)
10. USA!!! That I get to live in a free country!
11. That I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father
12. Photography- I am so thankful that we get the opportunity to take pictures and then look back and see how much love we have and how much fun we have!!
13. Nature- I love being outside and enjoying the great outdoors and seeing the beauty all around!
14. For amazing sister-in-laws!! Could have some mean ones but they are pretty amazing and perfect for my brothers!
15. Adoption- I am so happy that MayLynn is happy and healthy and has a loving family!
16. A car- so I can get to my job and around town and be able to go anywhere I need to or want to!
17. Music- I love country music, but I also like to rock out to some pop music!
18. Technology- I love that we have so many ways to be able to talk to each other and stay in touch with each other!
19. Food- I love eating good food and not being hungry! Lucky that I get the opportunitty to eat and not starve!
20. Piano- I love playing the piano!! It helps me relax and let out some stress!!
21. Sports- I love a good football game and baseball game!
22. Reading- I love getting caught up in a good book!
23. Holidays- they bring families together!! I love having my family together for big holidays and enjoying each others company!!
24. Running- I love running for whatever reason! It is so relaxing and fun! It's a relaxing way to let out some stress!!

old friends.....

So last week an old friend facebook messaged me! It was so good to hear from him! It brought back a lot of wonderful memories that I had with my friends. It has been about 9 months since I have probably talked to him. We have been talking and hanging out and it has been so much fun!!

Last week at country dancing I danced with some old people and some new.. I was talking to this guy and Josiah came up to me showed me a text message that said he was asking about me earlier.. SO I had a boy asking about me!!! that is so exciting!! I had a blast last week, it took a little while to get to the fun stage but I had a blast!! Met some new people and caught up with some old people!!!

I have been walking with my dad every morning. It has been hard to get out of bed at times but has been a blast!! It gives us time to have some one on one time to talk. I love talking to my dad about everything that is going on in my life!!

I am looking into a new job. I had an interview today and it would be an amazing job!! I would be working at a private doctors office. Monday through Friday 8-5! Those are some amazing hours!! The people are super nice and I would be working with one of my dearest friendS!! Now I just have to pass the 2nd interview with the doctors... we will see!!! WISH ME LUCK!!! :)
